Hackers Launch Cyberattack on Federal Labs

A "sophisticated cyberattack" has been detected at Oak Ridge National Laboratory over the last several weeks, and authorities suspect the hackers are based in China.

The breach might have compromised the personal information of thousands of visitors to the lab.

Mattel recalles 1.5 million Chinese made toys tainted with lead

Mattel is recalling 1.5 million Chinese made toys containing too much lead. The tainted toys, made for Mattel's Fisher-Price unit, include popular pre-school characters such Elmo and Big Bird among others. They were made by Chinese manufacturer using a non-approved paint pigment containing lead.

Don't use toothpaste made in China

The FDA warned consumers Friday not to use toothpaste made in China after officials say they have identified at least 16 brands of imported toothpaste potentially containing diethylene glycol, a chemical that can be used as a sweetener and thickening agent but that is toxic to humans.
