How much exercise adults require to stay fit

Based on the most-current data, the government and the American Heart Association both recommend that adults get at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise on most days of the week. A moderate level of physical activity is that which burns 150 calories in a day, or 1000 calories in a week. These moderate activities can either be performed all at once or spread throughout the day.
