Scientists Confirm AIDS Originated in Wild African Chimpanzees

Scientists have confirmed that the AIDS virus originated in wild chimpanzees in a remote central African forest.

The evidence was obtained from chimpanzee feces from the forest floors of southern Cameroon.

Warning: Stay away from eBay Soccer World Cup tickets

Avoid purchasing World Cup tickets over the Internet on eBay, warns Reuters report.

For security reasons, tickets, are personalized with the buyer's name and are transferable only under special circumstances.

German soccer chief Theo Zwanziger reportedly said: "I would just warn him [Ebay buyer] he's running a risk. He's going to the stadium under a false name ... and he runs the risk he will be turned away."

Paxil increases Suicide Risk

Another study revealed some cases for the antidepressant Paxil increasing the risk of suicidal behavior in young adults, according to GlaxoSmithKline and the Food and Drug Administration.

There were nearly 15,000 patients treated with both Paxil and dummy pills. The FDA reported that there were 11 suicide attempts -- none resulting in death -- among the patients given Paxil in the trials and just one of the dummy pill patients attempted suicide.

Given that small number, the results "should be interpreted with caution," the FDA said.

But filmmaker Ron Howard disagrees - "It's not theology. It's not history. To start off with a disclaimer...Spy thrillers don't start off with disclaimers," Howard told the Los Angeles Times in Sunday's edition.
