Saddam's Torture Regime Video

WARNING! This video is highly graphic. Not suitable for kids or anyone with a bad heart!
In 1985 Saddam Hussein ordered that three young men be "blown to pieces" for allegedly planting a bomb.
One of the victim's uncle claims that the charge was false and the real offense was speaking critically of Saddam.

Any questions why Saddam should've not been in power?

Amazon Plans Movie Downloads

Amazon.com starts movie downloads service by end of April, and will have movies from indie studios and major studios.

One possible scenario is that an Amazon customer could stream a digital copy of a film for a fee and apply that charge as a credit toward the eventual purchase of the DVD. Basically, try-before-you-buy.
Another plan is for a customer to buy a DVD; while waiting for it to arrive, he could stream the content over his computer.

If prices are low I will buy it :)!

How Safe Are Health and Diet Supplements?

Since FDA regulation is weak, safety and quality of many supplement products are very questionable.

There is great article in the Business Week talking about "serious adverse events involving supplements" and private organizations trying to provide independent tests to to help consumers to get the right information. It points out lots of problems such as lack of the right ingredient indicated on labels or serious side effects.

"People think these things are regulated...but it's pretty much like the Wild West," says New York nutritionist Erica Ilton. Be warned!

Apple killing RSS?

The Photocasting feature in Apple's updated iPhoto application violates numerous internet standards, according to several dignitaries from the RSS community.

"It's pretty bad. There are lots of errors, the date formats are wrong, and there are elements that are not in RSS that are not in a namespace," said Dave Winer, who is considered the creator of RSS.

Introducing new elements prevents common feed readers from accessing Photocasts, and it makes harder for third-party applications to introduce similar features that work with iPhoto.

Is Apple trying to change RSS standards? I have a feeling..yes.

Get paid to talk on the phone

More usefull plug in's for Skype- a VoIP company.
A company called Jyve, has teamed up with micropayment company Click&Buy to let you charge the people who call you by the minute.

This service is great for any business or individual who sells expertise or bills hourly, and you want to collect money for time you spend on the phone with clients or customers. Lawyers, tech service company, consultants or anyone can benefit from it.
This is how it works: A seller places Jyve-enabled "Call Now" button on his website. A customer clicks "Call Now" button to make a call and accept a payment to a seller. A Jyve-enabled counter counts time spent on the phone. A customer sets up to have their credit card billed through Click&Buy. Very time-efficient! :)

Residents asked the officials to help but they refuse to help because the chickens haven't attacked anyone yet.

The only option residents have is to hire trappers or catch the birds themselves.
