Hyperactivity-disorder drug, Dexedrine, has health risks..

GlaxoSmithKline, volunteered to add a line to Dexedrine's label saying, "misuse of amphetamines may cause sudden death and serious cardiovascular adverse events."

The recommendation stems from an FDA investigation into possible heart risks of ADHD drugs after Adderall XR, another ADHD drug made by Shire Pharmaceuticals, was temporarily pulled from the Canadian market last year following reports of numerous deaths.
